Following the idea of project internal workshops, colleagues from the DKRZ (Deutsches Klimarechenzentrum) held a two-day workshop in Hamburg to get through the roughs of data processing and visualization. About twenty HD(CP)² members took part and learned about the usage (including the hidden features of various buttons) of the visualization software Paraview. Topics covered were among others the proper handling of data grids and plotting of own data sets. On the second day, the participants were introduced to tools (cdo and python) for post processing of the HD(CP)² data sets. A follow-up is planned for October 2017 in Hamburg.
Thanks you very much Niklas Röber, Pavan Siligam, Dela Spickermann and Michael Böttinger for your effort and support on this workshop!
